The third round of the MRF MoGrip National supercross championship 2018 will be held in Coimbatore July 1
The event, to be held at opposite Jenneys Residency, is getting bigger and brighter every year not only for the riders, but for the spectators too. This time will be a premier event, have roped in professional FMX riders Callum Shaw (New Zealand) and Shaun Webb (the United States) to give it a cracking start for the Coimbatore show.
“Besides some serious racing, we want to give the crowd, both big and small, some kind of entertainment,” said Shyam Kothari
The big boys of racing such as Harith Noah and C.D. Jinan had dominated the first two rounds, and they will try to race ahead in the points table in the six-leg championship.
Interestingly, the junior category riders have also done well in the earlier rounds. “There are at least 10 riders on the grid, which is very encouraging. What surprised me is that they are riding like any other senior in fray. They are taking the jumps with so much confidence,” said Shyam.
“The Joker Lane, a tricky segment introduced last year, will test the skill of the riders this year as well,” he added.
Organizers plans to have a fast track to further increase the interest for the spectators.
